Where to See Christmas Lights!

Where to See Christmas Lights in Wichita

 |  December 10, 2012 1 Comment

A few readers have asked where they can see Christmas light displays in Wichita, and that’s a great idea for a post because driving around looking at the lights is not only a fun family tradition, it’s also really inexpensive. (Even after you factor in the price of gas.)

Several holiday light displays in Wichita accept donations for charitable causes, so while they are technically free, it’s polite to donate. They’ve put a lot of time, money, and work into Christmas lights and they aren’t even asking for anything for themselves.

So here are a few places you can take your family, along with more resources if you want to do it up big.

Wichita has a really great website that is designed to show you all the best Christmas light displays in our area. Go to Yulefinder.comto see all the displays and use additional features like mapping your route.

And here’s a great article in the Wichita Eagle about two of the families who do these Christmas Light Displays.

Christmas Light Tours: I’ve never personally used any of these services, so consider this list more of a directory and not as an endorsement. If you’ve had good experiences with any of these Christmas Lights Tours, or if you have others to recommend, please feel free to add your comments!)
